This PLC will focus on classroom leadership strategies that embrace data, leverage each student’s strengths, provide an opportunity for each student to be a mentor in their own way and create a classroom culture dynamic built on mutual respect and relationships.

About The Facilitator

Deb Sweebe | Institute for Excellence in Education
Deb Sweebe brings over 20 years of classroom and school leadership experience to her role as an Academic Coach at the Institute for Excellence in Education. Passionate about meeting the needs of every student, Deb works side-by-side with educators, providing professional development and job-embedded coaching. Throughout her career, Deb has worked in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, principal, and as an adjunct instructor at Saginaw Valley State University. In addition, Deb served on the American Chemical Society’s Presidential Task Force on STEM Education. Deb holds multiple education certifications and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from National University in San Diego, California.
