Few people remember why we the charter school movement was founded, yet we are fighting to stay in existence when people are asking why we exist. How close are we to the tipping point for performance and delivering on what the ultimate promise of charter schools was? The opening general session will be a thoughtful conversation of data within the movement and accountability of improvement to reinvigorate the professionalism in education.

Each attendee will cycle through three workshops. Each of the three workshops will bring a different approach to leading innovation in schools, providing attendees with a well-rounded working understanding on to reinvigorate the professionalism in education.

We understand that a day of learning burns a lot of calories so we put extra effort into a menu of tasty options to satisfy your appetite. Check your email, chat with an exhibitor or make friends in the general session hall as you get your grub on!

Take a stroll and meet with some top providers! We all know how important it is to do our due diligence when shopping for our schools. Take advantage of these providers at the event to gain new perspectives, brainstorm ideas, or even collaborate on a new project!
Marketplace Networking Reception
Wednesday 4:30-5:30 PM
Following the last session for the day, stop by for a few drinks and network with peers and Marketplace providers to gain some insight into the information learned throughout the day before you head out for dinner!
Charters ROCK Reception!
Wednesday 8:30-10:30 PM
End the evening with a BANG! Join MAPSA staff and your charter school peers from across the state for an intimate networking reception to remember! Rock out with the live band and enjoy cocktails and appetizers that will satisfy your palate!
Professional Learning Communities
Thursday 9:00-12:00 PM
Attendees can choose to participate in a focused professional learning community to debrief on a specific topic learned from the previous day. The 3-hour workshop on Thursday will take the knowledge and information learned from Wednesday and provide an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge learned with intentional time to process and develop a plan that will best impact your school.
